Cambridge Railway Station

CFM were approached by one of our long-standing Subway Franchisees, who wanted to open a Subway at Cambridge Railway Station. The unit in question is a listed building, and was empty at the time, being used for the storage of furniture.

Due to the importance of the building and its setting, the process to open a store at this location was lengthy, and included:

·       Full dimensioned survey of the existing unit

·       General Arrangement Plan for Subway HQ approval

·       Building Regulations, Condenser, and Signage drawings for Landlord Approval

·       Landlord approval for fit out works via Greater Anglia Trains

·       Planning, Design, Access and Heritage Statement to accompany planning applications

·       Advertisement approval via the local council

·       Listed building consent for both fit out and signage via the local council

·       Building regulations approval via approved inspectors

The store is now open and our client is delighted with the end result.
